Extremely Rare Ornate Antique Victorian Silver Banquet Oil Lamp (circa mid1800's) with Knights and Warriors on Horses and a Large Rare Cranberry Diamond Quilt hand-blown crimped shade. This lamp has extremely ornate repousse style with extraordinary carved leaf handle decorations and extraordinary intricate open work pierced or reticulated base. This is heavy old silver with a highly ornate styling and immense visual appeal! Additionally, this lamp has a very rare and hard to find #2 oil lamp flange type burner manufactured by the A B & C Company with a patent date of February 20, 1877. It has it’s original 4” ball shade holder and this type of shade holder that fits on the flange type burners are extremely hard to find. The burner will separate and the top part slides up on two metal rods so you can trim the wick or light the lamp with ease. This extremely rare and ornate Victorian Banquet Lamp is in excellent condition with no dents, damage, chips (shade has a little rough spot on the bottom of the fitter – even too small to call it a flea bite), cracks or repairs noted.
