Vintage Gilded Wood Frame with Nouveau Detailing

Very elegant in style and design is this old frame in wood with gold gilded edging and nouveau-styled floral designs in the corners. The background of frame is in black or perhaps a deep navy color.

The outside measures 10-3/4” tall x 6-1/2” wide. The image area is 10” x 5-3/4”. There are 2 little eye hooks in the back with a string across for hanging. There are a couple small digs to the outside edges that are not readily visible. The edges are finished with lovely art-nouveau details that almost remind me of Lilly pads.

This is an awesome old wood frame! The style dates this frame to 20's or 30's vintage.
