Welcome to my shop! I have experience with pottery, books (and cats) and hope I can help you find what you're looking for!
This print is entitled “Summerfest” and refers to the very first Festival in the City of Grand Rapids circa 1983. Paul Collins was commissioned to design a poster for this festival and this is the wonderful end result.
This beautiful, clean print features a montage of all the cultural events that make Grand Rapids so great, a ballerina with her ballet slippers, a title of a theatre show “West Side Story” a picture of a “Romeo & Juliet” manuscript by Shakespeare, and below these it states in small type: Edition 500 @ 1983, Paul Collins.
The overall measurements of this matted and framed print are a large 38-1/2” tall by 26” wide. This print is matted under glass and framed in a black 1” deep-set frame. The condition of this print is excellent with no stains, foxing or marks.
This picture is not only numbered 149/500, but also signed by Paul Collins himself! An awesome addition to your print collection!
As always, thanx for shopping Katiques and please take the time to see my other unusual finds!
