A very lovely ashtray circa 1050-1970, denoted by the gold gilt grooves on each corner. This could be used for a decoration it is so pretty. There are delicate purple violets and summery green leaves transfer decoration. Tiny, tiny little pale grey petals fill in the white background This is marked "Cherry China Made in Japan" and has their lovely flower mark on the back.The base underneath has a very low pedestal. The size is 4" by 4" by 3/4" high. The glaze and condition are good.
