Presented here is the finest painting by 19th c. British painter J. Langlois that we've ever had. Reknown for paintings of terriers and sporting dogs, Langlois, a follower of Armfield, has become highly collectible on an international scale. This oil on canvas is one of the most beautiful as well as one of the largest Langlois paintings recently offered. The painting is in excellent condition; set into original frame; signed in the lower left hand corner; size of frame 40 1/2 W x 30 1/2" H; size of visible image 29 3/4" W x 19 3/4" H.
