For those of you non-gem folks, this is a beautiful faceted stone, rich in color and unique in design. That's what makes it so wonderful to wear. And when you combine it with these gorgeous GP open weave contemporary flat rectangles, you have a stunning necklace for all seasons.

For those of you interested in gemstones, you may know this stone as crab fire agate. However, it is not. There is so much mistaken identity about that stone - unknowingly and not. But the truth is that the vast majority of stones sold today under the name of crab fire agate are really spider-web carnelian. Personally, I just like the stone, so I don't care what it's called.
